July 22, The Ripple Effect - Transformative Evening of Music - 204 E Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119 - 7p.m.  The Ripple Effect is the unique ensemble-in-residence at Southside Christian Church (DOC), in South Bend, Indiana. Peace United Church of Christ Groves will host The Ripple Effect for a transformative evening of music on Saturday, July 22 at 7p.m. (204 E Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119).  Not just a group of singers in a choir, The Ripple Effect is a collective truth-speaking voice in the community, by way of the enormous power of music. The concert will also include testimony from people who represent groups that are often unheard in our society. All are welcome, good will offering received to be support both The Ripple Effect and the Freedom School at Peace United Church of Christ.​

All-In Tour July 22-30, 2017!

Our founder, Eric Moeller, is heading out on the second All-In Tour July 22-30. Things will kick off July 22 at St Lucas UCC in St Louis (11735 Denny Rd) where Eric serves as the Associate Minister of Education and Mission. Not all of the performances are public, but if he comes to your city we hope you can come out! If you would like to support the tour, please go to the Store page and purchase a shirt and/or pre-order the new CD from Eric Moeller and the All-In Band, due to be released this fall. August 16, September 13, and October 11 at 2pm CT - Clergy and congregational lay leaders (especially treasurers, financial secretaries, stewardship ministry chairpersons, and council/consistory presidents) of the Missouri Mid South Conference are invited and encouraged to participate in a series of 3 live webinars focusing on present and future stewardship education needs within congregations.

Backstoppalooza  Saturday, August 26  Doors open at 6:00 pm  Chesterfield Amphitheater  Free to attend. All ages.

The 5th Annual Backstoppalooza fundraiser concert, presented by GO! Magazine/St. Louis Post Dispatch, Hesse Martone and Merrill Lynch, will be on Saturday, August 26 at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, beginning at 6:00 pm. The concert is free to attend and is open to the public. All merchandise, food, beverage and donations will benefit Backstoppers, Inc., an organization that provides immediate financial aid and other support to the families of Police Officers and Firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty.

The headlining band for this year’s Backstoppalooza concert is REVELATION/A TRIBUTE TO JOURNEY!  Revelation/A Tribute to Journey started from the love and respect for the musicians that make up one of the best bands out of California, Journey. Revelation/A Tribute to Journey are five talented musicians that capture the sounds and magic of the ban.  Danny Wayman with his amazing vocal ability, perfectly emulates the vocal style of Steve Perry. With dedication and emphasis on detail, Revelation/A Tribute to Journey is a band that brings a new meaning and energy to the word “tribute.”

October 29 - November 4, Mission Trip to Back Bay Mission, Biloxi, Mississippi, Parkway UCC has a reservation for the dates of Sunday, October 29 through Saturday, November 4, 2017 for up to 12 people. Typically, work will include electrical/plumbing (assisting local contractors), carpentry, insulation, drywall, painting, roofing, flooring, deck building and some demolition. All skill levels are welcome, but they recommend that some of the group have moderate to high levels of construction skills. We will be responsible for our own food, so there is an opportunity for a cook to come along. Youth 14-17 are allowed with adult supervision. The work week is typically 8-4, M-F. We usually take an afternoon off from work to sight see, probably a trip to New Orleans. Participants will each need to supply $75 lodging + $100 materials per person for the week.
